All Africa Anthroposophic Training
27 August - 3 September 2019
The 2019 All Africa Anthroposophical Training will be held in Zimbabwe from August 27 - September 3 at Kufunda Village just outside Harare.
It will be a week of deep immersion across different disciplines that have all been enriched and enlightened through anthroposophy. We will be gathering with farmers, teachers, doctors, caregivers, health practitioners, community organisers, and artists from all over Africa. This is the second of its kind, The first was held in Kenya, and the next will be held in Tanzania. The training brings a deep lived experience of ideas and practices for human development and social competence. It is therefore both a very personal journey as well as one that will serve each participant for their work in the world, their communities and organisations.
2019 Conference Location
Kufunda is a learning village just outside Harare that has been operating as an educational centre since 2002. Kufunda works together with communities, organizations and individuals from Zimbabwe to promote life-long learning and community based solutions towards an overall goal of co-creating healthy vibrant communities. Kufunda runs a Waldorf inspired school, and through this journey have found their way into anthroposophic ideas. Kufunda puts a special emphasis on enabling under-privileged groups like women and youth to become full participants in the community. They train people in the domains of personal leadership, sustainable living and community collaboration.
